"Tushanal" is the third work by Deva Prakash Tripathi, an experienced journalist with over three decades of experience. This book covers interesting and sensitive events within Nepali politics. Tripathi has previously published fantasy novels based on different worlds and environments, including "Pralaya Pradhi" and "Mahanisha," which is based on historical events. Known for his critical analysis and nuanced exploration of philosophy and politics, Tripathi has published over 1400 articles and works.
Born in Dhading in 2021, Tripathi developed an interest in politics during his school years. He played a leading role in the student movement and faced detention and prison torture on multiple occasions. He holds a degree in philosophy from Tribhuvan University and has also studied painting up to the graduation level.
Throughout his career, Tripathi has served as the General Manager of the National News Committee, a Member of the Board of Directors of Radio Nepal, and the host of the popular program "Ghatana Aar Bichar" broadcast by Radio Nepal. He also served as the director of Nepal's first privately-operated television channel.
Tripathi is the founding editor-in-chief of the weekly publication "Events and Thoughts," registered in 2051, and serves as the editor of Event and Thoughts.com, an online news portal. He received the Senior Journalist Award from the Government of Nepal and was a member of the high-level working group responsible for drafting the National Mass Communication Policy 2073. Additionally, he worked as the coordinator of the suggestion task force in 2075, responsible for amending the Civil Code (Law).
